When I think about US Southern Fashion the stereotype I have from movies as an Italian is something in between fashion stuck in the Eighties, kitsch clothing, pink and bright colors and synthetic garments... So Lindsay Carter's Troubadour Fall 2010 Collection was a real surprise! The designer is based in South Carolina, and her collection combines southern elegance and urban flair to "reckless preppy with an edge" style. Each garment from the collection is named after streets in New York and Charleston (South Carolina).
After graduating from University of North Carolina Lindsay earned a degree in Fashion design at prestigious Fashion Institute of Technolgy in New York. After some important internships, positions and travelling she returned to the South in 2006. In early 2009 she decided to create her own women's clothing line: Troubadour Spring-Summer 2010 debut collection was born. So this is her second line that is currently being picked up by stores from Boston to Miami. And soon also the rest of the world will be available to buy her pieces: a new online shop is scheduled in September.
Love the chiffon dresses and feathered top! The only thing I am not convinced about is the choice of the lookbook model, she has a pretty face but she' s really too thin, to me her legs and waist don't improve the beauty of the clothing...

Hello, i’ve created a blog to help others.
You just have to send your doubts or anything you want to (whatagood_day@hotmail.com) so I can publish it in my blog and others can answer (you don’t need to have a blog to do this). I’ve just started, would you have a look?
