Flowers Bomb: A colour splash from the Italian Fashion Bloggers. Get ready, spring is on its way.

Una decina di giorni fa Cécile e Irene hanno avuto la brillante idea di lanciare un'iniziativa a tema per dare maggiore visibilità alle Bloggers Italiane: ed ecco il Flowers Bomb! Tutte le bloggers che hanno aderito pubblicheranno oggi sui loro blog un look ispirato ai fiori. Insieme a una lista con tutti i link delle altre bloggers partecipanti (la trovate alla fine del post, perciò visitate i loro blog!). Un'iniziativa che ho trovato davvero divertente. Che ha già raccolto qualche risonanza mediatica. E che ha saputo creare in me un senso di comunità e di vicinanza con altre bloggers... e anche di attesa. Sono proprio curiosa di andare a leggere e vedere tutti gli altri blog. E domani pubblicherò un collage con tutti i look del Flowers Bomb riuniti.

Per quanto mi riguarda questo si tratta di un duplice evento perché mi ha fatto lanciare anche nella pubblicazione della mia prima foto. E' buffo che lo abbia fatto proprio grazie un tema floreale perché in effetti non è che lo ami poi troppo. Come succede a volte per certi capi, le stampe a fiori "mi piacciono indossate da altri ma meno da me" (ma sono aperta alle eccezioni, ovviamente). In ogni caso, al momento, ero piuttosto sprovvista di bombe a fiori quindi sono andata a recuperare un vecchissimo, oops vintage, top a fiorellini nei meandri del mio armadio. Al top però sono molto legata affettivamente perciò sono contenta di averlo indossato per questa iniziativa.

Some days ago Cécile and Irene came out with this great idea to give more visibility to the Italian Fashion Bloggers: let's do a Flowers Bomb! All Italians bloggers that have joined will post an outfit inspired by flowers on their blogs today. With a list linking to all the other girls' blogs (you will find it at the bottom of my post, so check out their blogs!).

I find it a really nice initiative and it already raised some interest not only on the web. It has created a sense of community with other bloggers... and also suspense. I'm so curious to see and read all the other posts and outfits today. And tomorrow I will make a collage showing Flowers Bomb outfits all together.

For me Flower Bomb means also... publishing my first picture. It is funny that I have done it with a flower inspired theme. Because I have to admit that I don't like flower prints that much, it is something that I really like other people wearing but it's hard that I like it on myself (but I am open to exceptions, of course). So I found myself lacking in flowers bombs and had to recover a very old - oops vintage - floral top from my closet. But it is an item I am very fond of so I am happy to have wore it on this occasion.
