MYNT 1792 by Kevin Christiana goes Naughty Nautical.

For Spring 2010 the US designer Kevin Christiana has designed a "Naughty Nautical" themed collection that combines his love of rock'n'roll with the sexiness of the sailor girl. Christiana's tailored designs are edgy and practical for Spring utilizing design elements including exposed zippers, chains, and antique anchor metal buttons that give the collection a bit of a vintage feel, with a mix of seersucker and light weight fabrics in feminine colors like blossom pink, shy blue, and primrose yellow.

About Kevin Christiana:

Rock'n Roll, tattoos and Italian background (his family comes from Ciminna, Sicily). Kevin studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where he was awarded with the “Menswear Designer of the Year” grant. Before branching off as an independent designer, he took his craft and honed his skills designing with first cousin, Susana Monaco. In 2002 Christiana created his eponymous line, debuting his menswear-inspired collection for women selling at high-end boutiques nationwide. Following this line, in 2004, K Jeans for women was designed and debuted on the cover of the Victoria’s Secret Fall 2006 catalog. He took part in Bravo's Project Runway Season 4 were he was one premiered as one of the best competitors. His appearance on the show allowed him to take his career to the next level. He also has frequent appearances on The Rachel Ray Show that kept up his popularity and he is now best recognized as Rachael Ray’s “style guy.” In 2008, he became head designer and partner in two labels – MYNT 1792 and Christiana Zinn.
